Denise Fleckenstein

Denise Fleckenstein is a planned giving professional having served the non-profit community for 22 years. She directed planned giving programs at the University of Detroit Mercy, Cranbrook Educational Community, the Beaumont Health Foundation, and the United Way of Michigan. Denise is a member of the Planned Giving Roundtable of Southeastern Michigan and served on its board and as president. She is a member of the United Way Next Planned Giving Faculty, The Children’s Center Strategic Funding Committee, and The Michigan Business Women Thrive Board of Advisors. Denise was honored as a Distinguished Volunteer by the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Robert Herta

Robert Herta, president of Herta Communications, is an award-winning global communications executive with more than 30 years of experience. Before founding Herta Communications, Robert was the director of corporate and digital communications and global brand management at a Fortune 500 company. Robert brings together a unique team of media relations, social media, and philanthropic professionals to develop integrated communications and marketing strategies for clients in the private and nonprofit sectors. Robert has a Bachelor of Arts and an MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy.

Henry Lau

Henry is co-founder of Core Focus Associates LLC, a fundraising data analysis firm that provides research services to guide the strategic growth of major donor programs. Previously, Henry was the senior director of research at the Beaumont Health Foundation. In his role, he oversaw the research and data analysis programs that supported major donor fundraising. Before that, he was associate director of the research program for the University of Michigan's fundraising operations. He is a past president of the Michigan chapter of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA) and a former APRA International board member. Henry is a graduate of Michigan State University.
